Today I saw a commercial for something that brought me out of the shadows of my quiet exile from this site: Reduced Sugar Frosted Flakes. Perhaps this has been around for a while and I just don't buy breakfast cereal that much (definitely true), but I think something needs to be said. Frosted Flakes have one purpose and one purpose only: delivery of early morning sugar into the bloodstream. Why must everything in society have a watered down counterpart? Diet coke, decaffeinated coffee, reduced fat potato chips, low emission gasoline... if you're looking for a cereal with less sugar just eat cheerios or raisin bran, don't bastardize an American classic.
