5 Years Hasn't Dulled The Pain

Flipping through channels tonight I landed on Sex And The City. I watched for a couple minutes. I feel like I'm sometimes drawn to watching shows I hate. It's like when I'm driving and I hear a song on the radio that I highly dislike, but I let it play out anyways. Anyways its already been 5 years since this show about whorish leathery cougars has gone from the first run airwaves, but I still feel the pain it inflicted on society weekly. It's not just the show itself, with its insanely unlikeable characters, in the city I don't like all that much. It's actually meeting people who love the show, watch the show, and then ACT LIKE THE CHARACTERS IN THE SHOW IN REAL LIFE. I'm sure you have met chicks like this at some point. It's like hanging out with Miranda or Kim Cattrall in real life. It's like my nightmares actually came to the waking world. I probably can't describe it to you properly unless your a dude who has seen the show a few times, and then hung out with girls who love the show and then started acting like the characters in it. In fact this screams of something Chuck Klosterman could write a chapter or two about. Maybe I should contact him about it. And none of the women on the show have appeared in anything that has even come close to letting me forgive them for infecting humanity with this disease. At least Chris Noth was in the magnificent Mr. 3000.
That's such a Miranda thing to say!
